this whole week was a whirlwind of emotions. passions, heartbreak, and everlasting love all came together this week in a culmination of events that will leave my life forever changed.

kidding. nothing happened.

spent the entire weekend doing mock trial. however, i was slightly hungover for 2 out of the 3 days of competition so i felt that goal of not taking mock trial seriously was readily accomplished.

the competition was a shit show. our defense closer got tonsillitis two days before competition. then we replaced him with some random chick and two hours before we were supposed to compete, the girl broke her jaw.

the moral of the story is that mock trial robs you of your health, and tries to kill you.

this morning i stumbled into my 8 am 20 minutes late. coffee in a thermos. glasses. no makeup. hair with a life of its own.

so of course i ran into everyone i’ve ever known. of course.

as my college life continues, i am becoming more and more certain that god created the concept of humor so i could make it through my life without crying.

but i am determined to be less of a joke and get my life together soon. here is everything that i NEED to do:

- replace the id card that i lost on the row. so sick of hovering around the entrance in the freezing socal tundra waiting for someone to swipe me in.

- fill out paperwork for the lease for the apartment on ellendale by tomorrow.

- glance at my accounting/statistics homework.

- find my work documents and actually start working

- start writing for SCelebrity publications in desperate hopes of meeting a celebrity

- call my dad and brother who are all alone, potentially starving to death in diamond bar

- stop ignoring texts from some people

- START ignoring texts from others

i feel overwhelmed by everything. i’m already struggling to catch up.

all i want is for someone to carry me up a mountain, let me drink from a fountain, and sing me this lullaby:
